Who you're dealing with

We're a tree company working out of Bentonville, covering Bentonville, Bella Vista, Centerton, Rogers, Cave Springs, Pea Ridge, Little Flock, Highfill, Gravette, and Lowell. Our work splits into hazard removals, climbing and canopy work, and middle-of-the-night storm calls.

Everyone on the crew has spent enough time in Northwest Arkansas to know the things you only learn locally: which yards you can drive equipment across in March and which ones swallow a truck, where the chert ledge sits close enough to the surface to stop a grinder, and how a Bella Vista driveway that looks fine on the way in behaves on the way out with a loaded trailer.

How we work

We look before we price. Nobody can quote a real removal over the phone. We come out, walk the property, and give you a written number. That's free and it doesn't obligate you to anything.

The number doesn't move. Unless you add work, what we quote is what you pay. No deposit on standard jobs, and payment when the work is done and you've walked the yard with us.

We show up when we say we will, and we call the day before to confirm. If weather pushes a job — and in the spring, weather pushes jobs — you hear it from us that morning, not from silence.

We clean up properly. Brush chipped, drop zone raked, driveway and walkways blown off. If we put ruts in your lawn getting equipment in, we tell you rather than hoping you don't notice until we're gone.

What we'll tell you that some won't

The honest answer is sometimes "leave it alone." Plenty of trees that worry homeowners are structurally fine, and plenty of "dangerous lean" is just how the tree grew forty years ago reaching for light. Talking you out of a removal costs us an invoice and earns the call you make in three years.

We also won't top a tree. It's the fastest way to make a big tree smaller and the fastest way to guarantee it becomes a hazard, because what regrows after topping is a crown of weakly attached shoots on a stressed trunk. If someone quotes you cheap to "cut it back hard," that's what they mean.

And we'll say when a job isn't ours. Anything in contact with a primary power line belongs to the utility. Anything requiring a crane on a lot where a crane can't set up belongs to a company with different equipment than ours.

Insurance, and why you should ask everybody

We carry general liability and workers' compensation, and we'll have the carrier send a certificate directly to you before we start.

Ask every tree company you call for that certificate, including the one that knocked on your door after the last storm. If an uninsured crew drops a limb through your roof or someone gets hurt in your yard, it lands on your homeowners policy and your premium. A cheap quote from an uninsured outfit is a bet you're making on their behalf.

Hours

We answer the phone from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., seven days a week, because trees don't observe the weekend. Storm damage gets handled outside those hours when we can safely work.
